Building the region’s talent for industry growth in healthcare.
Between 2017 and 2032, the population ages 65 and older is projected to grow by 48% and the population ages 75 and older is projected to grow by 75% [1]. With these increases, the healthcare industry is projected to add over 10,000 jobs to the region by 2028 [2].
Our Work In Action
The demand for healthcare services will continue to increase as our population grows and as we live longer. Advances in technology allow healthcare professionals to prevent, diagnose and manage health and illness better than ever before, but that’s creating challenges for society and the industry. That’s why we’re investing in building a workforce with ever-increasing skills.

Learn MoreClinical Passport
Clinical experiences are designed to help prepare healthcare students for the industry roles they may encounter. We partnered with the Health Care Workforce Alliance for South Central – Southwest Wisconsin to standardize the clinical placement process in our region by using a web-based clinical passport.
The passport standardizes the documentation and paperwork needed for college students to receive clinical experiences at participating healthcare facilities. It lets students complete the requirements before their start date while also helping facilities and colleges reduce duplicative efforts and costs in placement processes.
