Apprenticeship Building American (ABA) 2 Grant
Pathways to Quality Jobs:
Expanding & Empowering Health Care Apprenticeships in Wisconsin
Expanding and Scaling Registered Apprenticeship Programs that Translate into Good Jobs
Apprenticeship Building America 2, our latest grant initiative, focuses on expanding and building new healthcare apprenticeship pathways designed to meet the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals. Individuals will have access to high-quality training, combining classroom instruction with hands-on experience to earn industry-recognized credentials and degrees.
By aligning education-system aligned apprenticeship training with the specific skills and competencies required in the workforce, we ensure that employers receive a steady pipeline of talent equipped with practical knowledge. Apprentices benefit from earning a wage while they learn, entering the workforce with minimal debt, and securing well-paying, sustainable careers in healthcare.
With our grant partners, we plan to prepare and support more than 400 individuals over the next 5 years as they pursue Registered Apprenticeships in healthcare.
