WDBSCW to Host In-Person Manufacturing Job Fair to Celebrate Manufacturing Month

MADISON, October 5, 2021 – The Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin (WDBSCW), in collaboration with the Job Center of Wisconsin partners, is hosting an in-person Manufacturing Job Fair on October 13, 2021 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Warner Park Community Center (1625 Northport Drive, Madison).

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with local employers to learn about their career opportunities that range from entry-level to advanced production, technical and administrative careers. Employers will also be highlighting the products made in the region and the corresponding career pathways and application process.

This job fair is part of Manufacturing Month, which is celebrated in October to highlight one of Wisconsin’s top industries. Throughout the month, the WDBSCW will also showcase local companies via social media to promote the high-quality careers available in the region.

Please note that per Dane County Health guidelines, all attendees and employers are required to wear a mask. Pre-registration is not required. Walk-ins are welcome.

Job Service staff will be available to support job seekers as they explore these companies and prepare to apply for and enter the available careers.
