Recruitment

The South Central Wisconsin region is rich with talent. But we know at times the process to recruit and hire can be challenging. When you need to find talent, we can help with reliable labor market information, insights into industry trends, access to talent pools, and additional information on hiring options and incentives.

Layoff Aversion & Assistance

Layoffs, facility closures and reductions happen in today’s economic climate. When your company faces these possibilities, we can coordinate efforts to provide Rapid Response presentations to your company and the affected workers. These presentations provide information on services available within the community and region to assist those affected in their time of transition and save your company money on unemployment benefits.

Training & Retaining

Hiring workers is just the start to building a strong workforce – the next step is keeping them. Continuous training and worker development keeps your employees on the cutting edge of industry developments. Studies show that building the skills of employees can improve productivity and workforce retention.

One of our many services is helping to facilitate the partnership between businesses and training providers. We can help you save on training costs by connecting you with other businesses in your area that have similar training needs. There are many tactics and incentives to consider and we can work with you to identify solutions to foster employee development and increase workforce retention within your company walls.

In an effort to attract, train and retain talent, our partnership with the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin is essential. Opportunities provided through career fairs, Rapid Response efforts, customized trainings, work experiences, direct referrals and more contribute to our ability to make quality hires as we work to provide our patients and families with remarkable care.

The WDBSCW has been instrumental in facilitating countless meetings, enabling the collaboration between dozens of companies and schools. This has resulted in invaluable knowledge and best practice sharing in addition to introducing educators and students to the opportunities with area manufacturers.
