Six Wisconsin State Representatives joined the Workforce Development Board leaders and Job Center partners in a tour of the Dane County Job Center on April 29. Job Center staff briefed Chris Taylor, State Representative for the 76th Assembly District; Mark Miller, Wisconsin State Senator for the 16th District; Andy Jorgensen, State Representative for the 43rd Assembly District, Melissa Sargent, State Representative for the 48th Assembly District; Joan Ballweg, State Representative for the 41st Assembly District; and, Kelly Becky from State Senator for the 27th District Jon Erpenbach’s Office on the workforce-related services and resources available through Job Centers.

During the visit, Job Center agency staff briefed state officials on the available services from Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Department of Human Services, Employment and Training Association, Madison College, Tenant Resource Center, Veterans Services, Wisconsin Job Service, the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program, as well as other on-site services.
