2020 Champions in Action awardee remains strong partner.
Ann McNeary is a member of the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin (WDBSW) and serves as the AFL-CIO Community Services Liaison at the United Way of Dane County.
This year, Ann’s been instrumental in supporting the WDBSCW develop virtual Rapid Response sessions and employer testimonials to reach workers impacted by layoffs. She continues to dedicate time from her busy schedule to present information and resources available to dislocated workers during the Rapid Response sessions.
Ann also spearheaded the creation of flyers to display in food pantries and local nonprofits to further promote the resources available to individuals and connect them to American Job Centers throughout the region.
Ann remains steadfast in her role as a member of the Board. Even after seven years of service, she continues to assist the Board’s initiatives to support local communities.
Ann received the Champions in Action Award at the 2020 WDBSCW Annal Awards Celebration for her dedication to the Board and our communities.
