As big box stores like Shopko and Toys “R” Us are closing, organizations at local job centers are trying to help displaced retail workers find new jobs.
The Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin (WDBSCW) is partnering with the WorkSmart Network to hold a series of information sessions.
These sessions are aimed at connecting workers with local resources like career planners that can help them find new jobs or transition into other industries.
