Rapid Response session helps worker transition jobs..
Laura was dislocated from Shopko in April 2019. She connected with the WorkSmart Network (WIOA Title I service providers) through a Rapid Response session where she learned about the services available to her through the Retail Dislocated Worker Grant.
Laura worked with her WIOA Title I Career Planner to review labor market information, explore careers, build her cover letter and develop her resume.
After receiving career services to hep her forward, Laura was hired as a Library Technician at Pinney Library earning $14.40 per hour.
