We’re continuing to engage in industry partnerships to ensure the available workforce in South Central Wisconsin is equipped with the necessary skills and businesses find quality workers. As active members of the region’s manufacturing councils, we’re constantly listening to the needs of industry and working with businesses and education partners to identify workforce solutions.

If your company is interested in attending a manufacturing council meeting, give us a call. We’ll connect you to a council in your area where you can network with other manufacturers and learn about economic and workforce development issues of value.

Manufacturing Works Campaign

We collaborated with the Dodge County Manufacturing Business Alliance in 2017 and the Made In Dane Manufacturing Network in 2018 to create the Manufacturing Works Campaign. The campaign showed students, parents and educators in Dodge and Dane counties the good-paying jobs and long-term careers available in manufacturing. The campaign webpage features resources, videos, and examples of starting-, mid- and advanced-level career opportunities available in the region.
