Apprenticeship Building America 2 (ABA2) Grant
Pathways to Quality Jobs: Expanding & Empowering Healthcare Apprenticeships in Wisconsin.
Expanding Registered Apprenticeships
Apprenticeship Building America 2 (ABA2), our latest grant initiative, focuses on expanding and building new healthcare apprenticeship pathways designed to meet the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals. Individuals will have access to high-quality training, combining classroom instruction with hands-on experience to earn industry-recognized credentials and degrees.
By aligning education-system aligned apprenticeship training with the specific skills and competencies required in the workforce, we ensure that employers receive a steady pipeline of talent equipped with practical knowledge. Apprentices benefit from earning a wage while they learn, entering the workforce with minimal debt, and securing well-paying, sustainable careers in healthcare.
With our grant partners, we plan to prepare and support more than 400 individuals over the next 5 years as they pursue Registered Apprenticeships in healthcare.
