About Us

If you are unemployed, were laid off or are searching for workers, let’s talk.

At the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin (WDBSCW), we’re committed to helping people and businesses achieve their goals, whether that’s earning degrees or certifications, planning careers, finding or training employees, or overcoming barriers. With our partners, we build and deliver programs and services to help you succeed.

Our goal is to make South Central Wisconsin a better place to live and work by ensuring workers have the skills needed to succeed in their career, young adults are prepared to enter the workforce or educational institutions, and employers have the skilled talent needed to remain competitive.

If you’re unemployed, working multiple jobs, were laid off or need help moving forward, contact us to see if you’re eligible for career and training services.

About the Board

We’re led by a board of directors who are elected to represent the diverse group involved with workforce and economic development issues and challenges. We’re one of 11 workforce development boards in Wisconsin that work together through the Wisconsin Workforce Development Association. We partner to develop and implement statewide workforce strategies and build a stronger workforce in the state.
